Natasha’s bridal shower at the Old Mill in Toronto was the perfect location to host an intimate gathering with all the special ladies in her life. As I walked into the Garden Room (a VERY beautiful room at the Old Mill), the room was buzzing with her bridesmaids and family setting up the final details and excitingly awaiting for guests to arrive.
Although Natasha and her fiancé Billy are not having their wedding until next summer, Natasha decided to have her bridal shower now for an incredibly touching reason. Billy and his family are from Scotland and his mother was coming down this summer for a visit. Natasha decided to make sure she hosted the shower during her mother in laws stay here so that she wouldn’t be missing out on the exciting day! What a sweetheart!
The room was beautifully decorated with small bouquets of flowers and old vintage books that Natasha had collected. I really admire when brides take on DIY projects and incorporate items they already previously own into their décor as it really makes the room look unique and brings personal touches that just simply cannot be bought.
My all time favourite thing about Natasha’s bridal shower was her guest book. She used a book called Weddings and Movie Stars which is collection of famous photographs of famed artists and movie stars on their wedding day. I could of spent all night going through that book and am definitely going to go out and seek a copy for myself! If you’re ever stumped on doing something unique for a guest book, you could definitely do something similar to this!
After dinner, Natasha got to open all of her lovely gifts and ended up getting some special sexy wedding day lingerie from her hilarious aunt! It was an evening full of jokes, laughter, and unconditional love. Thanks for having me apart of your Bridal Shower Natasha!
