Angela’s Bridal Shower at Eagles Nest Golf Club was a day filled with unconditional love and laughter. Behind every aspect of her day was the amazing support from friends and family who did what they could to help out. The Maid of Honour Karen and Angela’s childhood friend Robin were there to help run the show and make the day run smoothly. Work friends were recruited to decorate with DIY projects and Angela’s mother Ana and her soon to be Mother-in-Law Shiva, spent many days helping Angela put together her Bridal Shower. Not to mention the tremendous amount of volunteers who baked some really delicious cookies and desserts for the sweet table! There was so much left over that everyone was able to get take-home bins. Luckily for myself I was able to snag some yummy cookies and cake before it was all gone! The room was beautifully decorated with tones of baby pinks and blues. As for her centrepieces, I was in LOVE with the vintage bottles that were used as vases. In the middle of each table were Angela’s grandmothers’ dollies. It was incredibly touching to see Angela incorporate them into her Bridal Shower and get to feel like they were there celebrating with her. There was lots of fun to be had with Bridal Shower Games so I made a list that Angela had at hers. 1) Guess the Kisses Contests. 2) Date Night Ideas written on popsicles sticks. 3) Hidden engagement rings around the room for guest to collect the most to win. 4) Scratch cards that determined who won the centerpieces. 5) Envelopes with potential celebrity grooms’ faces in them. Those with Angela’s fiancé Rod in theirs won. 6) Purse Raids The day ended with Rod rushing through the doors with gorgeous flowers to surprise Angela. It was so sweet to see them together and I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!
