Last month I got to start my wedding season off with Ruonan & Kevin’s wedding and what a way to start the summer! Their Black Creek Pioneer Village venue was the perfect place to for these two to say their I do’s!
The morning started off pretty relaxed and quiet while Ruonan and her girls were getting ready and Kevin and his boys came by to sit, eat, and hang out. It’s not very often that I get to experience a very laid back morning on a wedding day but it was so nice to be able to mingle and hang out with everyone before the tea ceremony started!
As beautiful as Ruonan looked in her traditional dress, it was absolutely hilarious AND adorable to watch Kevin help her kneel and carry her up and down stairs since the poor girl had some issues walking with the skirt so straight and tight! I got to capture some hilarious moments of these two laughing and giggling while they tried to manage getting out of the house!
After that, we headed to Black Creek Pioneer Village for a very short but sweet ceremony before we were off to walk around and take some pictures! Although the day was calling for some wet weather, we were very lucky that it didn’t start to rain until after we were finished!
Ruonan & Kevin: You two are such wonderful, sweet, and kind-hearted people and I feel very honoured to of been able to capture this special time in your lives! Cheers!
